Business Start up Grants

Provided the qualifying criteria are met, we could be able to offer grants of up to £5,000 to each new start-up business. Broadly speaking we are able to offer grants to people from the 'NDC' area or a business that wants to relocate to the 'NDC' area that could provide employment opportunities for NDC residents providing they have a viable business plan.


The grant money will be issued to the applicant in line with the business plan and cash flow requirements. Come in and discuss your ideas with us, then we could be helping you on your way to running your own business..

The Sector Skills programmeis designed to focus on workforce development and knowledge building within the company's specific sector of operations. In many cases it will lead to individuals gaining qualifications, sector recognition or enhanced skills.

Consultancy support ñ Skills Academy

The Skills Academy Consult2Change programmeis designed to help companies work towards change management procedures and systems, or the use of consultancy processes to gain competitive advantage.Some of the areas that have developed from this programme include Health & Safety, HR systems, production management systems, marketing and IT consultancy.
